VeohTV BETA, you're ready to start watching videos.
VeohTV Home
-
My Favorites
- As you find videos and channels you really
like, mark them as 'favorites' and VeohTV
automatically creates a list of your
favorites so you can easily access them at
any time. You can also save a search as a
favorite.
-
Recommended to you
- This section is personalized just for you.
VeohTV learns about your viewing and

videos you watch, the better the
recommendations get.

major networks so you can watch your
favorite prime-time shows, channels for the
video sharing sites like YouTube, MetaCafe,

Saving videos to watch later
As you watch videos on VeohTV, you may
want to save some of them to your library so
you can watch them later, even when you're
not connected to the Internet.
There are a couple of ways to do that
with VeohTV:
- Select a video you like from the
Guide, and choose 'Add to library'.
That's it, the video will be
automatically saved to your library.
- Use the browser-plugin: The browser
plug-in is installed in Internet
Explorer or Firefox when you download
VeohTV. As you browse different sites,
the plug-in automatically senses if
there are videos on the page that can be
downloaded. It also indicates if there
is an RSS feed to subscribe to. Just
click the plug-in to see which videos
are available to download, then click
'download' and the videos will be saved
to your library. You can also subscribe
to any feed so new videos are
automatically sent to your library.
-
Home Delivery
Home Delivery allows you to browse videos
on Veoh.com from any Internet-connected
computer and send videos you select to
VeohTV on another computer. It's great for
browsing videos at work and sending them
home so that they're ready to watch when you
walk in the door.
To use home Home Delivery click here to
enable it on www.veoh.com, then enable it
within VeohTV:
- Launch VeohTV, and select File >
Options > Settings. From the settings
dialog, select the 'Subscriptions' Tab.
Select the Home Delivery checkbox to
"Allow this VeohTV to receive videos
from my Home Delivery list"
-
Managing disk space
You won't run out of disk space on your
computer because VeohTV automatically
deletes older videos (except for the ones
you've saved). You can adjust how much disk
space to devote to your library in the
Settings menu.
Connecting to a TV
You can connect VeohTV to your television and
use a remote control to watch videos from the
comfort of your couch.
Connecting your computer to your TV isn't
difficult. For most TVs, you just need an
S-Video cable. First, connect the S-Video cable
to your computer's S-Video output connection
(located on the back of your PC). Connect the
other end of the S-Video cable to an S-Video
input connection on the back of your TV, change
your PC display settings, and you're ready to
go. For audio, use your computer's speakers, or
connect your PC to your receiver using the PC's
headphone jack. You can even use a media center
PC remote control to navigate while you watch.
-
Using a remote control
- Most Media Center PCs come equipped with a
Media Center remote control. You can use the
remote to navigate the VeohTV guide so you
can browse channels and watch videos from
the comfort of your couch. If you don't
already have a remote, click here for the
Windows Marketplace.
